Idaho Bird By Bird
An educational program supported by GEAS, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, USFWS Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program, Partners in Flight, Idaho Department of Fish and Game's Watchable Wildlife Program, Bureau of Land Management, Wild Birds Unlimited, and Land Trust of the Treasure Valley.
This is a coalition that is dedicated to the preservation of the health of the Boise River. Partners include GEAS, Sierra Club, Idaho Rivers United, Trout Unlimited, Great Old Broads for Wilderness, Advocates for the West, and Idaho Conservation League.
New Roots Program
A GEAS program that wouldn't be possible without the support of our community partners. In 2015 our partners included The Foothills Learning Center, U.S. Forest Service, Boise Watershed, Intermountain Bird Observatory, Walla Walla District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, World Center for Birds of Prey, Zoo Boise, RefuSKI, and the Idaho Office for Refugees.
The creation of this reserve was lead by GEAS but wouldn't have been possible without our many partners. The efforts of the Bureau of Land Management, Idaho Fish and Game, Land Trust of the Treasure Valley, Intermountain Bird Observatory, Ada County Sheriff's Department, and the Idaho Wildlife Federation were all invaluable in protecting Blacks Creek for people and wildlife.
MK Nature Center
The MK Nature Center is a wonderful public education center brought to us by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game. The center is a regular partner of GEAS. They have let GEAS hold our monthly meetings in their lecture hall and GEAS has helped support education programs and outreach events.
North American Bluebird Society
The North American Bluebird Society is a non-profit education, conservation and research organization that promotes the recovery of bluebirds and other native cavity-nesting bird species in North America. GEAS is proud to be a member of this organization.
