City Nature Challenge Workshop

  • Jim Hall Foothills Learning Center 3188 Sunset Peak Road Boise, ID, 83702 United States (map)

The City Nature Challenge is an annual global community science event that engages communities in exploring and documenting local biodiversity using the iNaturalist app. Golden Eagle Audubon Society is partnering with Boise City Parks and Recreation and Idaho Fish and Game to encourage wide participation in the Boise Metro Area.

This workshop will teach participants how to use iNaturalist to document nature observations during the City Nature Challenge. You’ll learn about the vital role community-science efforts such as the City Nature Challenge play in generating biodiversity data.

Participants are encouraged (but not required) to download the free iNaturalist app to a mobile device prior to attending the workshop.
