Birding by Ear: Avimor's Spring Valley Creek

Yellow Warbler. Photo by Mick Thomson.

Join us as we walk along Spring Valley Creek in Avimor listening to our resident birds as well as our spring migrants. Be prepared to hike up to 4 miles over relatively flat but uneven terrain. There are some areas of deep sand and gravel and rocky steep sections.

We will be focusing on our spring migrants such as Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, Gray Catbirds, Yellow-breasted Chats, Bullock's Orioles, Western Tanagers, Black-headed Grosbeaks, Lazuli Buntings, several flycatchers and warblers.

Registration is required and limited to current members. Join or renew your membership here.
