SIBA Field Trip: Bachman Grade

Meet at the Walter's Ferry Bridge on Idaho 45 south of Nampa, where highway 45 crosses the Snake River.

We will begin birding at the Snake River and hit several points on our climb up the Owyhee mountains. Maybe we’ll scare up a Black-throated Sparrow. If not, we hope to see Black-throated Gray warbler, Green-tailed Towhee and perhaps a Gray Flycatcher. Plan for a full day. Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, and a lunch.
