SIBA Field Trip: Montour WMA

Enjoy some slow birding with the Southwestern Idaho Birders Association (SIBA) at the Montour WMA between Emmett and Horseshoe Bend near the Payette River.

SIBA will be looking for autumn migrants, marsh, and pond residents with an emphasis on shorebirds. Montour is a great migrant trap so they could turn up anything. This is an easy walking trip and could be all-day if there is interest. Dress appropriately, bring water, snacks and a lunch.

SIBA (Southwestern Idaho Birders Association) is a birding group based out of Canyon County. All are welcome on their field trips.

Please note this is not a Golden Eagle Audubon event.

Registration is required.
