Everyone can participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC). This world-wide event engages thousands of volunteers in collecting data used by bird researchers.
Participate in a local community count. We’ll be counting in Downtown Boise on Feb. 17, at the Idaho Botanical Garden on Feb. 18, and at the GEAS ReWild Plots on Feb. 20. On Feb. 19, we’re teaming up with Idaho Young Birders Club to host a count for teens and young adults at Kathryn Albertson Park. Learn more and sign up.
