Everyone can participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC). This world-wide event engages thousands of volunteers in collecting data used by bird researchers. Learn more about this amazing event at https://www.birdcount.org/
Participate in a local community count. We’ll be counting in Downtown Boise on Feb. 16, at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival on Feb. 17, at ReWild Habitat Restoration Plots on Feb. 18 and at Hyatt Hidden Lakes Reserve on Feb. 19.
You don’t need to be an expert birder, but we are requesting all counters have an eBird account. They are free and you can learn more at www.ebird.org
