Everyone’s favorite volunteer job. We will provide you with seed trays, locally-collected native seeds, soil and instructions ('how-to' demonstration at event and video for home reference). You will prepare the seed trays at your home following the instructions and then leave the trays outside in a protected place (no pets, marauding kids or basketballs) through the first days of Spring. In late March or early April the seeds will germinate. You will monitor and nurture the seedlings (again, guidance provided) and by early May they will be ready for re-potting.
You need to be registered as a Golden Eagle Audubon volunteer to participate.
