Golden Eagle Audubon Society members are invited on a birding trip to east Idaho May 23-25. Birding locations include Camas National Wildlife Refuge, Market Lake Wildlife Management Area, Mud Lake Wildlife Management Area and other locations to be determined. You will be guided by Field Trip Leaders Jim James, RL Rowland, Will Miller and Brian Jensen, along with local experts. Friends of Camas and Snake River Audubon will host a picnic with us on May 24 at Camas NWR.
Participants are responsible for transportation to and from Idaho Falls. A large van will be used for transportation on May 24 along with one or two private vehicles. Participants are responsible for all meals except the May 24 picnic. Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for lodging in Idaho Falls. A block of rooms is reserved at a discounted rate at the Springhill Suites by Marriott.
Your registration includes birding trips on May 23, 24 and 25, a donation to Friends of Camas, picnic dinner on May 24 and van transport on May 24 (for most).
Registration fee: $125 per adult. No discount if you only come for one night.
