Join the Cascade Christmas Bird Count!

Please email Shauna Arnold at shaunaarnold@hughes.net or call 208-634-6906 if you plan to join us.

Come to our briefing starting at 8:00 a.m. at the Cascade Cultural Arts Center where you will partner up and receive your count area assignments and instructions. At noon we will break for a chili potluck lunch.  After we have warmed up and filled our bellies, we will head back out to count more birds.

The Christmas Bird Count is the world's longest-running community science program. For three weeks each winter, people across North America work together to take a snapshot of bird populations. Anyone can participate, and contribute to a dataset that fuels science all year! Learn more about the Christmas Bird Count.
