Help document the biodiversity in Marianne Williams Park as part of the 2022 Boise Area City Nature Challenge. During this all day event, we will explore and document the birds, mammals, plants, invertebrates, and more found throughout this unique park. Experts will be available throughout the day to answer questions and discuss some of the species in the park. Volunteers are welcome to join in for all or any portion of the day.
We will kick-off the morning with a structured exploration of birds in the park from 8:00 - 9:30 am. From 10:00 - 11:30 am a local plant expert will provide a guided tour of the plants that make their homes throughout the park. The afternoon from 12:30 - 3:30 will be focused on insects and other invertebrates that inhabit the park.
Once registered for the event, you will be contacted via email to register for specific portions of the day.
