WMB: Emmett Sewage Ponds

wood ducks

Wood Ducks. Photo by Louisa Evers.

Since the winter is cold and morning road conditions can be iffy, the Wednesday Morning Birders are switching to the afternoon for a brief period.

Join Golden Eagle Audubon and the Wednesday Morning Birders for some slow birding at Emmett Sewage Ponds. We will walk around the ponds and have a chance to see what may be on the Payette River as well. If you have a spotting scope, it will be useful to bring.

The overall pace is slow so that everyone gets a chance to see and enjoy every bird. A few pairs of binoculars will be available if needed.

All levels are welcome. Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Space is limited. Registration opens January 4th.
